Final weekend! HOMOS, OR EVERYONE IN AMERICA at convergence-continuum
FINAL THREE PERFORMANCES THIS THURS-SAT! _HOMOS, OR EVERYONE IN AMERICA_ ONSTAGE AT CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM FEARLESS, FUNNY & HEART-WARMING “Homos makes its audience fall in love with it, and it will break your heart, make you laugh and even make you think.” “The crew at Convergence-Continuum and Director Clyde Simon clearly understand the purpose of a play like Homos and have given it a stellar treatment, taking its concept and immersing its audience” “Convergence-Continuum welcomes those lured by its inane humor to take that trip, and come out the other side with an important message about acceptance and optimism for the future of human rights and equality.” (Roman Macharoni, _Scene_) FULL REVIEW HERE [1] _Homos, or Everyone in America _ is told through interweaving glimpses, jumping around among moments over a five-year period in the relationship of a contemporary couple. What does it mean to be in a committed relationship? Is monogamy just monotony? If navigating this isn’t complicated enough, what can happen when, on top of everything else, the couple is unexpectedly confronted by a vicious hate crime? _Homos_ is a fearless, often funny, openly emotional examination of the moments that can bring two people together – or pull them apart. _Homos _is directed by convergence-continuum’s Artistic Director, Clyde Simon. Members of the cast are Nate Homolka, Kieron Cindric, Corey East and Rocky Encalada. _Homos _has its final performances this Thu-Sat at 8 pm at the Liminis Theater, 2438 Scranton Rd., Cleveland 44113 in the historic Tremont neighborhood. Fri and Sat tickets are $20 general admission, $15 for seniors and $10 for students. Thurs tickets are $15 gen. admission, $12 seniors and $8 students.
