All ages (8 and up) are welcome to audition. Queer identifying and gender expansive actors welcome. Audition Dates: June 25, 2023 6:00PM-9:00PM June 26, 2023 7:00PM-9:00PM Audition Location: The Western Reserve Playhouse 3326 Everett Road Bath, Ohio 44286 Callbacks: As Needed Performances: Only Seven Shows - October 6-21, 2023 (Friday and Saturday at 8:00PM and August 20, 2023, Sunday at 2PM) Rehearsals: Will begin around August 21, 2023 Rehearsals will run Sunday-Thursday (evenings) based on cast availability. This is a 6 week rehearsal process 6:30-9PM or 7:00-10PM Audition Requirements: • Please prepare 32 bars or 90 seconds of a fun, silly comedic musical theater piece, song from a cartoon or animated show, or a song in the style of the show (Please, not from the show) • Youth (ages 8-13) do not need to be memorized (although preferred) please have two copies of music of not memorized • NO acapella or taped recordings at live auditions, please. • NO Sondheim, Jason Robert Brown or heavy ballad please. • There will certainly be movement, but this is not a dance show. Any dance auditions will be done at callbacks.
