*Houde School of Acting is kicking off the Young Actors class Series with Improv (there’s still time to sign up!)* The first session *in our 2025 Young Actors Online Series begins Monday, April 7*, and we’re starting strong with one of the most fun and foundational tools for young performers: *Improv for Young Actors.* This 6-week online class is open to students ages 8 to 14 and is perfect for beginners and experienced kids alike. Through improvisational exercises and theatre games inspired by Viola Spolin, students will learn how to think on their feet, express their ideas clearly, and collaborate with others - all in a supportive, high-energy virtual classroom. Taught by award-winning actor and educator Angela Katherine Baker, this class will have students explore character work, emotional access, and trust in their impulses - skills that will carry through the rest of their training, both on stage and off.
