Youth classes begin Saturday, February 4th and run through April 8th. * (10 weeks) The last day of class, April 8th, will be a free recital including performances from each class. Teachers will give you additional details closer to the final day of class. Seating is on a first come basis. *STARDUST!* 4-7 year olds Instructor- Alyssa Herbell Saturdays, 9:00 a.m.- 9:45 a.m. Here’s a fun way for your youngest students to get their start in theatre! This non-stressful approach to basic acting, singing, and movement will teach your littlest stars to twinkle! Students will work on imagination, memorization, and team work, as well as the technical basics of putting on a show. $75 *ACT-OUT IMPROV AND SKETCH COMEDY!* 8- 15 year olds Instructor- Britta Will Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. In this awesome acting class, students will be instructed in improvisation, character work, basic acting techniques and sketch comedy. Students will also learn how to write and perform their own scenes as well as create characters on the spot! The class is designed to benefit students of all abilities and experience levels (basic reading skills are a HUGE plus). Get ready to get on your feet and ACT-OUT in this special improvisation and sketch comedy course! Class is open to students ages 8 – 15. $80 *BRAVO! Intro to Musical* Theatre Skills 8-15 year olds Instructor- TBD Saturdays, 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. This active and exciting class focuses on singing and acting. The class provides a safe environment for students bring music to life. Students will learn healthy vocal techniques, use acting skills to create characters while singing, learn about music history, and develop audition skills. This class will benefit students of all abilities and experience levels. Class is open to students ages 8 – 15. $80 *STARWORKS! Advanced Acting and Playwriting* 10- 16 year olds Instructor- Katie Atkinson Saturdays, 12:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Students will learn through improvisation, voice and movement exercises and other various acting techniques. Classes will include audition preparation, character development, creating confidence on and offstage, as well as writing for the stage. Students of every experience level are encouraged to attend. In the playwriting portion, students will learn how to create shows of their own. Students will explore character and plot development as well as how to take their creative ideas from the page to the stage!
