Auditions may also include a movement exercise and reading from the script. The Hudson Players are an all volunteer award winning, community theatre. All roles in our productions are always open to auditioners, with no restrictions. Those auditioning will be asked to read from the script. Auditions usually last at least two hours and while it is best to be there at the beginning, those with schedule restrictions can come later. Those interested in working backstage, on sets, lights, etc., are encouraged to come to auditions as well and fill out a form letting the producer know their areas of interest.
