Each year, the festival showcases new plays written by area writers, many of whom participate in Ensemble’s weekly open-door StageWrights Workshop. StageWrights meet every Wednesday evening at 7pm at Ensemble Theatre and provides opportunities for writers to work on new plays with fellow writers, actors, and directors. In conjunction with the full production of Cleveland playwright Tom Frattare’s *Mama / Moon, *the Colombi New Plays Festival will feature readings of new Ten-Minute, One-Act, and Full-Length plays from theatre artists across Northeast Ohio being held throughout the months of March and April.
