Playwrights Festival continues this Thurs-Sat at convergence-continuum
THE 2020 NEOMFA PLAYWRIGHTS FESTIVAL CONTINUES THIS THURS-SAT AT CONVERGENCE-CONTINUUM For the ninth year, convergence-continuum continues its successful collaboration with the Northeast Ohio Master of Fine Arts (NEOMFA) in Creative Writing Program. The Festival continues this weekend, Thursday-Saturday at 8 pm, with three short plays. This weekend features the one-act drama The Purple Queen by Ralph Myers, directed by Tyson Douglas Rand, and two ten-minute plays: First to Die Wins, a comedy by Justin Lazor, directed by Eva Nel Brettrager and Autopoiesis a performance piece by Oana Leuce, directed by David Munnell. The three plays feature the following cast members: J.C. Cifranic, Samantha Cocco, Jamal Davidson, Mike Frye, Robert Lucchesi, Casey McCann, Grace Mitri, J.P. Peralta, Hanna Storch, Tim Tavcar and Monica Zach. The 2020 NEOMFA Playwrights Festival runs this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (February 20-22) at 8 pm at convergence-continuum’s Liminis Theater, 2438 Scranton Rd., Cleveland 44113 in the historic Tremont neighborhood.
