Dixon* Two ex-lovers run into each other while at a Black Lives Matter protest. *Characters:* *Tinka- *African-American, She/Her, 20s, protester who is manning an aid station during a protest over the death of an unarmed Black teen by police. *Ezra- *African-American, He/Him, 20s, reluctant protester, Tinka’s ex. *POOF! by Lynn Nottage* Directed by* Nicole Sumlin* When a housewife comes to the end of her rope with her abusive husband, she doesn't expect him to spontaneously combust. With a pile of ashes on the floor and a life to reclaim, she and her friend debate what to do next.
