URGENT CASTING NOTICE: Seeking video auditions for immediate casting of the following role in Broadview Heights Spotlights production of Schoolhouse Rock Live!: JOE: A figment of TOM's imagination. Represents the cool side -- laid back and fun loving. Should move well. Sings Schoolhouse Rock hits such as Conjunction Junction, Rufus Xavier Sarsaparilla, and more. Range C3-G4 Traditionally male presenting but this role is open to all gender identities. The show runs May 2 – 11, 2025 and will include double shows on Saturdays (2:00 PM and 6:00 PM) and Sunday matinees (2:00 PM). Rehearsals begin 3/18 and we are looking to add this actor ASAP pending availability. No equity contracts are available at this time. All roles are volunteer. Audition requirements are either 2 contrasting cuts from songs in the style of the show (32 bars or 1 minute) or a vocal reel.
