Cain Park is now seeking a Marketing Intern for its 2016 season.
2016 Summer Cain Park Marketing Internship Program Since its inception in the late 1930s, Cain Park has been a training ground for people interested in pursuing careers in theater and the arts. Today, Cain Park/The City of Cleveland Heights offers an Internship Program for energetic and devoted students of theater production and administration. Cain Park asks interns for a 12-week commitment. Internships can start as early as the beginning of May and can run until late August. The internship is unpaid, however credit hours can be earned for the Internship Program depending on your school's rules and requirements. Requirements: * energetic self-starter * works well with people in person & over phone * has desire to make contribution to vital & unique arts organization * can work unsupervised for periods of time * can provide own room/board and transportation expenses (internships are unpaid positions) Duties: * Assist General Manager, Public Relations Manager and other administrative staff members with all marketing/public relations efforts including media relations; special events promotions; group sales; displays; flyer/poster design & distribution; writing news releases and radio spots; social media marketing; website updates; editing playbill copy, etc. * Greet audience members and assist with customer relations at events. * Help meet day-to-day challenges of a fast-paced season.
