Reserve your spot for SEAT of the PANTS' FREE ARTIST WORKSHOP! *Qualities of Movement Devised* Come join us for our *Qualities of Movement Devised *workshop. This is a workshop built to embrace playfulness, get out of your head, get into your imagination, and have a good time - which is of course, always better with a group of likeminded artists. Co-founding teacher of the Great Lakes Michael Chekhov Consortium, *Cathy Albers*, will be leading an entirely new exercise of her own devising introducing new ways to approach principles and tenets of the Michael Chekhov technique. (Both newbies and veterans are welcome!) SotP ensemble member, Michael Glavan, will then lead participants in playing around with the established principles through a range of devised theatre practices. *IT'S A TWO-FOR-ONE KIND OF WORKSHOP!* While certain acting-based principles will guide some of the exercises, this workshop is great for directors, playwrights, educators, actors, and anyone else interested in getting more hands-on theatre in their life. There are *TWO* sessions to this workshop - one in Cleveland, and one in Stark County - per the generous support of a grant sponsored by ArtsinStark. This workshop will be offered on the two following dates at two different locations. *Session in Cleveland* October 27th, 6:30-9:30 pm The Darl Center for the Arts 5437 Broadway Ave, Cleveland, Ohio We will have access to a private parking lot, and street parking is available. *Session in Stark County* November 1st, 10:00-1:00 pm Christ Presbyterian Church 530 Tuscarawas St W, Canton, OH 44702 Parking is available onsite.
