Assistant Band Director Saint Ignatius High School, a highly successful Jesuit college preparatory school for boys in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking a *part-time Assistant Band Director to also serve as a part-time Percussion/Fine Arts Instructor *beginning with the 2017-18 Marching Band Season. The part-time Assistant Band Director duties include co-teaching a curricular Band and Percussion ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, and may include teaching two or less, one-semester Fine Arts courses. The ideal candidate will possess marching band and percussion experience as well as experience teaching high school Fine Arts courses with musical instruction a plus. This part-time faculty position reports to and receives direction from the Band Director. *Qualifications:* • Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or Musical Arts, preferred • Current Ohio teaching license in high school Fine Arts or Musical Arts or ability to obtain • 2-3 years previous percussion/marching band experience. • Experience teaching high school students is a plus.
