Now in its eighth year, The Masque of the Red Death is Akron's premier Halloween event for adults. Be among the hundreds of souls who'll celebrate deep into the night at a most macabre, artfully elegant, daring, dramatic and decadent Halloween masquerade party at the historic and haunted Akron Civic Theatre. This party is a reenactment of Edgar Allan Poe's short story - The Masque of the Red Death. Guests are transported to a time of intrigue and suspense. We are looking for unique talent that can fit into the scene of the party, such as: jugglers, magicians, contortionists, dancers, painters and any other fantastical performers.
