Radio on the Lake Theatre, Northeast Ohio's only professional theater company exclusively dedicated to the illumination of the radio play, was recently awarded a Knight Foundation grant to create an audio play tour for the visually challenged.  We are looking for Akron-based playwrights to write short radio plays based on Akron landmarks, and an Akron-based director for the project.  The tours will take place this summer.  To be considered, please contact Executive Director Caroline Breder-Watts at caroline@radioonthelaketheatre.org.  Radio on the Lake Theatre prioritizes and celebrates diversity in all its hiring practices.
