The Access Theatre Project, located in Mayfield Village, OH, announces auditions for the first production in its series of new plays: Everything Feels Like the End of the World by Julia Marie Black A staged reading at The Access Theatre Project Directed by Noelle Elise Crites Auditions: November 11th, 5:30-9:00 PM at 700 Beta Dr. Suite 400, Mayfield, OH 44143 Callbacks (if needed): November 12th Rehearsals: January 13th- 26th, with occasional Zoom rehearsals in December Performances: January 27th-29th, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 PM, Sunday at 2:00 PM This dark comedy follows Angie and Devon, an angel and a demon, in their fight over a young human's soul while exploring life, death, and everything that comes after. ROLES AVAILABLE: ANGIE (16-18) Female-identifying or Non-binary- An angel on a mission to save the life of Will. Type A but with much more depth than one would assume based on first impressions alone. DEVON (16-18) Male-identifying, Female-identifying, or Non-binary- A demon on a mission to condemn the soul of Will to hell. Charismatic, “devil-may-care” attitude but with an inexplicable element of danger. ALL ROLES PAID NOTE: This plays deals with topics of suicide, addiction, domestic abuse, and sexual assault. Due to these heavy topics, we will only be considering actors aged 18 and up. However, in-person auditions are preferred. This play, while comedic in parts, ultimately deals with finding connection and support in unlikely places. I encourage monologues that have comedic moments while showing emotional depth.
