School of Cleveland Ballet seeks reliable and outgoing dance instructors for its Community Outreach Program. Part-time position immediately available in addition to expanding our team for the 2023-2024 school year. Experience teaching dance (required). Dance Certification and professional experience (preferred). Qualifications: Degree in Dance or Education from credited University/ College preferred but not necessary, and/or extensive experience in dance professionally. Experience preferred: * Minimum 3-5 years dance teaching experience. * Dance experience to confidently lead a class of varied dance styles and technical movement. * Previous experience teaching school ages K-8. * Outgoing personality comfortable instructing young learners with short attention spans. * Some creative choreographic skills required for culminating event. * Knowledge of variety of dance styles.
