Sips & Scripts Presents: Pick Your Poison by Laura Barbieri
Dear Friends & Patrons, Kent Trumbull Theatre will be presenting a reading of "Pick Your Poison" by Laura Barbieri as part of our Sips & Scripts New Play Reading Series. Pick Your Poison is an audience-interactive murder mystery farce in the style of the "country house murder." (Think: Agatha Christie meets The Play That Goes Wrong.) Sir Nicholas Blackburn invites his old friends, acquaintances, and one stranger to visit him at his country estate, but some of them may not live through the weekend. The audience votes at intermission on which of the eight main characters is the murderer. The winning vote determines which one of eight alternative endings are played at that performance. Reading is Wednesday, October 5. Doors open @ 7pm. Reading begins @ 7:30. Hosted by Modern Methods Brewing Company in downtown Warren, OH. 125 David Grohl Alley. Call 330.675.8887 or email Trumbullboxoffice@kent.edu<mailto:Trumbullboxoffice@kent.edu> for more information. Free admission. https://www.facebook.com/events/5456250244491094/ Eric S.
