Arlene’s Broadway on Buffalo, 236 Buffalo Street in Conneaut, OH, has announced it will have auditions for “One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest” Sunday and Monday, Jan. 12-13, at the theater. Performance dates are March 13-15, 20-22 and 27-29. Director Sydne Nielsen has indicated that all roles are available; nothing has been precast. People planning to audition should be prepared to present a memorized monologue and read from the script. The cast calls for 4 women and 13 men of various ages. “Cuckoo’s Nest” tells the story of Randle McMurphy, a petty criminal who cons his way into a mental facility to avoid jail and then inspires the timid residents to rebel against the evil Nurse Ratched.
