A stage play that contained all the ingredients that would keep any theatre audience enthralled. This play is written well. Its preparation is excellent. All of the colourful characters have been well researched. Their creator has in my view demonstrated his expertise in this subject, His attention to detail is setting out this project is faultless. I suspect he will be a successful playwright. Charles is our main protagonist. A man with a past who has built his fortune on the backs of others. Without conscience, he has made it to the top, but strangely, he finds it necessary to consult a mystic. Why? We are not sure, but it seems he needs her assurances that all is well as he continues his quest to make money. Then one day she predicts that there is trouble ahead, a storm is gathering and his life is in danger. Charles is concerned about this turn of events, so confronts his past and invites all of his so-called friends to a place aptly known as the Blue Note. A place that he owns. This is the rendezvous that will hopefully expose his tormentor. His also invites, Rebecca a straight-talking detective and Eric and reader of people who can hopefully help him in his quest to find the culprit. With our 11 characters in place, we have the making of a stage production that succeeds in keeping our attention as the body count mounts. A ‘Who done it,’ with a difference. All of the characters are believable. I come from Edinburgh in Scotland and often attend the Fringe productions. This play is certainly equal to anything I have seen. The producer can be proud of his efforts.
