We will rehearse 4-5 weeknights/week and one weekend afternoon, beginning the week of February 19th. The rehearsal schedule is tentative and subject to change based on actor conflicts. Tech begins March 24; no conflicts will be accepted during tech week. Compensation: All actors will be paid a modest stipend. Audition requirements: -Prepare/memorize a 1-minute contemporary monologue -Bring current headshot and resume -Check your calendar for any rehearsal/performance conflicts. **If you have conflicts with callbacks, please let us know at the time of your audition** Character Breakdowns: Charlotte: (F, 18-25) fiercely intelligent, articulate, and funny; Jewish, Caucasian. Role requires partial undress, but there is no simulated sexual content. Jonny: (M, 18-25) close childhood friend of Charlotte, Christian, African American. Role requires partial undress, but there is no simulated sexual content. Howard: (M, 45-60) successful crime novelist, Jewish, Caucasian, married to Lucinda and father of Charlotte. Lucinda: (F, 45-60) dissatisfied with life, on a journey back to herself - along the way she self-medicates, married to Howard, mother of Charlotte Howard’s father: (M, 65+) **This is a walk-on, non-speaking role.
