Open to young men and women entering 9th-12th grades (regardless of school), the Saint Ignatius Summer Theater Intensive offers training geared towards *students who are considering a career in the performing arts.* The Summer Theater Intensive (running *July 8-12 and 15-19*, from 10:30 am-5:00 pm) is divided into 2 parts: *30 hours of technical design work and 30 hours of advanced acting training.* These vital skills are often the most underdeveloped when students apply to college theater programs. The intensive is designed to *give students the tools needed to stand out in their application process. *The cost of the course is $300. *After completion of this this two-week, sixty-hour college prep course, students attending any local high school will receive a 0.5 Fine Arts credit (one semester's worth) recognized by the Ohio Department of Education.
