The Madison Crawl play from 9-12. $12 per person, $10 for students and seniors with a valid ID, $5 for first timers. Starting next week on Mondays at the Brecksville Center for the Arts we have a Beginner Jitterbug Crash Course! We meet August 1st, 8th and 15th from 7-9. You will efficiently learn everything you need to know to survive a wedding reception, holiday party or any other social function with a dance floor. You will learn several footwork patterns, how to dance in open and closed position and several spins and turns for both leaders and followers. The cost is $60 per person or $100 per couple. The Lindy Chorus was created in the 1990s by Lindy Hop great; Frankie Manning. This routine uses partnered and solo Lindy and Charleston moves, most of which are 100% socially lead-able. This routine is ideal for performances and demonstrations. Are you interested in performing? Interested in becoming a better social dancer? This class will help get you ready for just that. Each student will receive complete choreography notes and a CD of songs perfect for Lindy Chorus. We will allow video taping every week. Students must know some basic Lindy and Charleston and sign up for this class. Ideally you will encourage a partner to take this class with you. The cost is $60 per person or $100 per couple.
