As the action unfolds we meet 10 down on their luck Texans who enter a contest to see who can keep their hands on a Nissan truck "hardbody" the longest. The last man or woman standing while touching the truck gets to keep it. From Jesus-loving Norma, injured and out-of-work J.D., to boastful former winner Benny and hopeful dreamer Kelli, each character has their own musical story to tell. Hilarious at times, yet poignant and hopeful, Hands on a Hardbody takes audiences for an amazing musical ride, with only one winner driving away with the American dream.
