Cleveland Play House is holding joint 2016-17 Season General Auditions for local actors, with Dobama Theatre. You will be able to be seen by both companies with a single audition. These auditions are by appointment only. Open to non-Equity and Equity actors. This open call is for the theatres' seasons in general. Performers will be contacted at a later date should the opportunity to audition for specific productions and roles arise. Young Performer (under age 13) auditions for CPH's production of A Christmas Story will be held in August. No other roles for young performers (under college age) are available in either company's season. If you wish, you may instead perform one monologue and sing 16 bars of a song of your choice. Accompaniment or musical playback will not be available but you are welcome to sing a cappella. You will be auditioning for Corey Atkins, Associate Producer at Cleveland Play House, and Nathan Motta, Artistic Director of Dobama Theatre.
