CPH is holding joint 2015-16 Season General Auditions for local actors, with Dobama Theatre. You will be able to be seen by both companies with a single audition. These auditions are by appointment only. Open to non-Equity and Equity actors. This open call is for the theatres' seasons in general. Performers will be contacted at a later date should the opportunity to audition for specific productions arise. Young Performer (under age 13) auditions for CPH's production of A Christmas Story will be held in September. WHEN: Friday, May 22nd from 6:00pm-9:00pm Saturday, May 23rd 10:00am-6:00pm WHERE: Middough Building, Allen Rehearsal Hall 1901 E. 13th St., 5th floor PREPARATIONS: Please prepare two contrasting monologues of no more than 90 seconds each. If you wish, you may instead perform one monologue and sing 16 bars of a song of your choice. Accompaniment or musical playback will not be available but you are welcome to sing a cappella. You will be auditioning for Corey Atkins, Associate Producer at Cleveland Play House, and Nathan Motta, Artistic Director of Dobama Theatre.
