CASE WESTERN RESERVE UNIVERSITY/CLEVELAND PLAY HOUSE MFA ACTING PROGRAM CASTING LOCAL ACTORS FOR *TWELFTH NIGHT* *Cleveland Play House (CPH)* is casting local actors for the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program’s 2021 production of *Twelfth Night*, directed by Sam White. Both positions are non-union contracts, each with a stipend of $250.00. Auditions are by video submission only. Rehearsals begin *Tuesday, September 14*, and will be held in-person during the day and on weekends, though we will do our best to schedule required rehearsals for these roles around actor work schedules. Rehearsals will take place in CPH’s rehearsal spaces, located on the fifth floors of the Middough building, at 1901 East 13th Street in downtown Cleveland. Performances are 5 shows a week from *Wednesday, October 13 - Saturday, October 23*. Performances will take place in-person at the Helen Theatre, located in the Playhouse Square complex. CPH is developing a health and safety plan that will be shared with all cast prior to the first rehearsal. *Characters*: *SEBASTIAN/VALENTINE* – (20’s, Latino, male, ideally between 5'2" and 5'7") Sebastian (Viola's twin brother) and Valentine (one of Orsino's attendants). Please submit two monologues. One should be Sebastian's monologue from Act IV, scene 3 ("This is the air, that is the glorious sun..."). *CURIO/OFFICER* – (20’s, any gender, any race/ethnicity). Orsino's servant. Please submit one Shakespearean verse monologue of your choice, no longer than 3 minutes.
