Auditions for The Spongebob Musical will be held Thursday, April 29 from 1-4pm at The Youngstown Playhouse. Please prepare a 30-60 second cut of a song in the style of the show. An accompanist will be provided. Seeking a diverse cast of actors ages 16+. All roles are open. Please come prepared to move and do a cold reading. Headshot and resume are encouraged, but not required. Those wishing to audition for the tap portion of the show, please bring tap shoes. Directed by Joe Asente, Music Direction by Anthony Ruggiero, and Choreography by Hannah Stephens and Aubrie Morrison. All actors will be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including the Omicron-specific booster, if eligible. Proof of vaccination will be required before the first rehearsal. Rehearsals will begin May 8 and run M-F, 6-9pm at The Youngstown Playhouse. Additional weekend dates for promotional events may also be needed.
