The film is being produced through an upper-level film class at Tri-C with production beginning in early 2017. The short will be uploaded online and submitted in film festivals. Roles are unpaid. Actors will receive a copy of the final film. All actors will be credited on IMDB. LOGLINE: When an awkward teen and his girlfriend lose their virginity and his boss/her father finds out, Michael Huerva must deal with the consequences or risk missing their prom. ------------------------------ MICHAEL HUERVA, 17, Male, is an awkward teen who is very skinny with little meat on his bones. He finds it hard to stand up for himself. Must be comfortable shirtless in a “PG-rated” awkward sex scene and portraying a character who smokes cigarettes Must be over the age of 18 to audition for this role. HERA ODINSON, 17, Female, is not afraid to speak her mind. Must be comfortable performing in a “PG-rated” awkward sex scene. Must be over the age of 18 to audition for this. MR. ABOUT THE FILMMAKERS: Thomas Matheis started his filmmaking education at the Medina County Career Center in the Video Production program where he graduated in 2015. During his senior year he interned with graduate Des Matelske where he found his passion in cinematography. He worked with Matelske on their first feature film “Sincerely, Me” (2016) as the Director of Photography and Co-Editor, which has won multiple awards in festivals across the country including the Hollywood Boulevard Film Festival and the NYC Indie Film Awards. Matheis is currently studying Media Arts and Filmmaking at Cuyahoga Community College where he is in his last year focusing on cinematography. When he graduates in 2017 he plans on working as a Director of Photography for feature length films. Des Matelske took on the Video Production program in high school at the Medina County Career Center where she graduated in 2013. Proceeding to gain knowledge in cinema, Matelske attended New York Film Academy in 2015 for Advanced Filmmaking and is a student at Harvard University for Advanced Screenwriting. With 21 awards and recognition in the film industry already, the number is steadily rising with Matelske’s highly anticipated feature “Sincerely, Me” (2016). (*IMDb.com*)
