I'm sure you know there was some exciting filmmaking going on in Northeast Ohio this summer. But did you know there was also some exciting filmmaking going in Lakewood as well? And it happens all year long with us! Our Summer Film Camp <https://www.youngfilmmakersacademy.org/summer-workshops>students created two films from start to finish and learned all aspects of filmmaking from writing to directing to special effects. These were in addition to the films created during the school year by our 8 Week Film School <https://www.youngfilmmakersacademy.org/8-week-film-school> students. And, both the students and the films will be celebrated and showcased at our Red Carpet Gala <https://www.youngfilmmakersacademy.org/red-carpet> on August 23rd.
