Victor Hugo’s novel¸ The Hunchback of Notre Dame¸ is one of the great

classics of world literature. This exciting story of a kind, deformed bell-ringer and his villainous “savior” the Arch Deacon of Notre Dame, a beautiful gypsy girl, and a handsome, conceited Captain has been retold in many forms. Festivals and Court scenes add characters and fun for the actors. The play ends on an upbeat note (unlike the novel) and is a significant and entertaining look at Victor Hugo’s famous story.

Trustees can serve up to 2 consecutive three year terms
