CPH THEATRE ACADEMY MERIT SCHOLARSHIP AUDITIONS Cleveland Play House Theatre Academy is excited to offer Merit Scholarships for students pursuing training in the performing arts! Auditions for these scholarships are THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19th! Who: Students aged 12 years and up Where: Classroom A, CPH Administrative Offices and Education Center, located on the 5th floor of the Middough Building, 1901 E. 13th St, Cleveland, OH. (Parking information will be provided upon receipt of audition requests.) When: Auditions will begin at 6pm. What to prepare: Students should prepare 32 bars of a musical theatre piece and/or a monologue of their choosing. Both pieces should be memorized. Please bring sheet music in the proper key. Classes ​welcome working adult professionals, preschool children with big imaginations, and everyone in between. Faculty from Tony Award recipient CPH excite creative potential, fortify aptitude, and nurture the passion necessary for artistic excellence. Cleveland Play House Theatre Academy will be holding auditions for Merit Scholarships to enroll in a Spring Semester Academy class! Scholarships are valued at over $300 and will cover full tuition for any Youth Open or Youth Pre-Professional Division course with CPH Academy. We offer courses in Acting and Musical Theatre across both divisions. Youth Open Division courses are for youth and teens who are passionate about drama and would love to learn more. Professional theatre educators and artists provide high-quality and developmentally-appropriate theatre instruction to students at all age levels. Youth Pre-Professional courses are geared toward youth and teens wanting to pursue a career in the performing arts. Professional theatre educators and artists provide high quality, year-long instruction in theatre, while guiding students in a complete rehearsal and performance experience. All scholarships awarded are for classes that take place in the CPH rehearsal halls and classrooms located in downtown Cleveland. The Spring Semester courses will run from January 13th through May 2nd of 2020.
