Learn the steps involved to book a commercial, the audition scene and who the players are in the room. How actors make the shift from stage to camera and how to determine the ultimate goal of the client after reading the commercial copy. At the end of the session students will give a try at creating their very own commercial and share their final presentation with the class. Learn what to count on when you walk through that audition door, how to choose appropriate monologues, submit a professional resume and present an up to date on current headshot trends and how to “Sell Your Song”. Andrew will hold mock auditions, provide cold reads and how to anticipate to expect the unexpected.
