Summer Classes 2021 Breakdown 5 weeks (July 6th – August 7th) *Schedule is always subject to change* *Classes may be cancelled due to low enrollment* Children Division Little Dancers 1 (2-4 years old) Skills: Attention span, musicality, rhythm and basic motor skills. Introduction to arm, head, legs and feet coordination. 5 week session - $95 Saturdays – 9:45am-10:30am Little Dancers 2 (4-6 years old) Skills: Introduction to basic ballet vocabulary. Basic ballet combinations. Build on motor skills, coordination, attention span, musicality and rhythm. 5 week session - $135 Saturdays – 10:30am-11:30am Preparatory Division Preparatory 1 (6-8 years old) Skills: Expand ballet combinations. Build ballet vocabulary, motor skills, coordination, attention span, musicality and rhythm. 5 week session - $135 Saturdays – 11:30am-12:30pm Preparatory 2 (6-8 years old) Skills: Ballet combinations get longer. Barre and center exercises are introduced. Build on motor skills, coordination, attention span, musicality and rhythm. 5 week session - $195 Mondays & Wednesdays – 5:00pm-6:00pm Teen Classes Preteen Ballet (8-12 years old) Skills: Barre and center work. Expand on ballet vocabulary and ballet combinations. 5 week session - $257 Mondays & Wednesdays – 3:30pm-5:00pm Preteen Jazz (8-12 years old) Skills: Warm ups with strengthening skills. Combinations that explore the fluidity of the jazz and lyrical style. 5 week session - $100 Mondays – 5:00pm-6:00pm Preteen Modern (8-12 years old) Skills: An introduction to the contemporary style. Floor combinations and stretches. 5 week session - $100 Wednesdays – 5:00pm-6:00pm Adult Classes Adult Ballet (21+ years old) This is a one-hour class of ballet technique including barre and center work. It is a great class for adults with prior or little ballet experience. The class involves teaching the principles of body alignment, placement, strength and stretching. In addition, the fundamentals of coordination, balance, turning and jumping are taught and reinforced during center work. This ballet class offers full body training that engages all of your muscles. 4 Class Package - $50; Drop In - $15 Mondays and Wednesdays - 6:00pm-7:00pm
