Underground Railroad Reenactment Seeks Actors (PAID)
Lorain County Metro Parks is seeking actors for... ROAD to FREEDOM an historical underground railroad reenactment Looking for actors to portray real and imagined characters as you escort or hinder a large group of runaway slaves along an actual site of the Underground Railroad. Roles Available FREDERICK (white male) an abolitionist posing as a slave buyer CAPTAIN AARON ROOT (white male) an abolitionist NOTE: Actors will be required to perform outdoors for extended periods of time. Actors must be available for the following dates: Sunday, April 2nd / 10AM-3PM Tuesday, April 4th thru Thursday, April 6th / 8AM-3PM Saturday, April 8th / 3PM-8PM Monday, April 10th thru Wednesday, April 12th / 8AM-3PM Rehearsals begin immediately, and will be based on actors availability. Auditions are by appointment only.
