ClaguePlayhouse Announces Open Auditions For "PANACHE"  ARomantic Comedy by Don Gordon directedby Chris Bizub   Performance Dates: May6th - May 29th, 2016 Thursdays,Fridays & Saturdays at 8pm, Sundays at 2pm   Auditions: Tuesday, February 9th at 7:30pm Wednesday, February 10th at 7:30pm   No Appointments Necessary   Callbackswill be held: TBA (If Needed)   Audition location: Clague Playhouse 1371 Clague Rd, Westlake,OH 44145   Characters - 3 Men and 2 Women ·     Harry Baldwin – An artist who works as a night cook. 30’s to 50’s ·     Kathleen Trafalger – Chic, wealthy, attractive woman. Cultured, fashionable dresserwith perfect manners. 30’s to 40’s ·     Laura Baldwin – She is poised, soft spoken, her beauty is equal parts innocenceand sensuality.  20’s ·     Irwin Alcott – Clean cut, fragile, scholarly. 20’s. ·     Jumbo Dombroski – A large, intimidating man – tattoos, muscular.  Dresses and acts as if he owns the streets.20’s to 40’s    Synopsis: Take Harry, ashort-order cook from Brooklyn, and Kathleen, a Scarsdale socialite, and putthem together in this quirky, romantic comedy. Kathleen has tracked down Harryin hopes of buying his one-of-a-kind vanity license plate, but Harry’s notbudging. This story is a heartwarming play about two people from differentbackgrounds who both, in search of life’s intangibles, find that perhaps theyare not so different after all.   Auditions will consist of readings fromthe script.
