Hale Farm & Village, a 19th century living history museum in Bath, Ohio =
(between Akron & Cleveland) is hiring a full-time, on site costume =
coordinator to ideally to start Oct. 1, 2001.

Responsibility:    Responsible for the construction and maintenance of =
historically accurate costumes and textiles.

Qualifications:    Must operate a sewing machine, and have knowledge of =
headwear construction, tailoring, handsewing, pattern drafting, fitting =
and alterations.  Must have the ability to work collegially with other =
managers. Knowledge of mid-nineteenth century American clothing styles, =
fabrics, and accessories desired.  Experience reconstructing historical =
costumes, costume design, and costume related research preferred but not =
required.=20
