Harmonia presents the traditional folk music of Eastern Europe, from
the Danube to the
Carpathians. Its repertoire reflects the cultures of this region:
Hungarian, Slovak, Ukrainian,
Croatian, and Gypsy. Performing on authentic folk instruments, and
styled after
 turn-of-the-century Eastern-European Gypsy bands, Harmonia’s music is
drawn from both
urban and rural traditions. The group draws its members from several
countries and features Alexander Fedoriouk on cimbalom, Marko Dreher on
violin, Walt Mahovlich on accordion & clarinet, Adam Good on bass, and
vocalist Beata Begeniova. For more about Harmonia visit
