Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee's classic courtroom drama, "Inherit The
Wind", continues this Thursday (October 24th) through Sunday (November 11th)
on The Beck Center Mainstage.
"Inherit The Wind" is an American Classic that fictionalizes the famous
Scopes Monkey trial of 1925, where political powerhouse, William Jennings
Bryan squared off with legal lion, Clarence Darrow. The trial brought to the
forefront an issue that is still grappled with today; the teaching of
Evolution in a public school system. The relevance today, as America fights
for its freedoms, has never rung truer.
Starring in "Inherit The Wind" are Ron Newell and Bernard Canepari. Already
their performances are being heralded as being among the best of the season.
"Inherit The Wind" plays Thursday, Friday and Saturday Nights at 8PM, and
Sunday afternoons at 3PM. Call The Beck Center box office for tickets today!
