the play

Dearly Departed

at Church Street Players located at the corner of Church street and Rt. 619
in Uniontown. Roles are for a variety of men and women between age 15 and
70, including many roles for actors in their 30's and 40's. Actors should
come prepared with a comedic monologue in a Southern dialect, and dress
comfortably. Church Street Players is a community theatre, all actors are
volunteers.

Auditions will be held on

November 15 and 16, 7-10 PM, at the theatre.
Those interested may call director J. T. Buck at 330-836-6328 for more
details.

About the Play
Daddy's dead, and the family is left to pick up the pieces. Laughter reaches
lethal proportions as audiences watch this southern family cope in the wake
of their Dearly Departed dad. Described recently as a cross between "Greater
Tuna" and "Six Feet Under", this is broad southern-fried comedy with a sharp
and poignant edge.

About the Director
J. T. Buck returns to Church Street Players after directing "And Evening At
Clancy's" last March. He has an extensive resume as director, actor, stage
manager, musical director, composer and lyricist in theatres throughout the
area. He is currently directing the January production of As Bees In Honey
Drown at North Canton Playhouse. His directing credits include a wide array
of plays: Corpus Christi at the University of Akron, Wedding Bizarre and A
Dickens' Christmas Carol at Tree City Players, Ghosts of Spoon River at
Central-Hower High School, and the musicals A Tale of Two Cities at Theatre
8:15 and Broadway Now! at North Canton Playhouse.
