· Mythology In Storytelling - this three-session class is for screenwriters,
novelists, directors, producers, film critics, and anyone who would like
another perspective for viewing films
Instructor: Jeanne Martin, Ph.D., researcher and script consultant on
mythic themes
Dates: three Wednesday evenings, 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m., November 28 and
December 5 and 12
Cost: $50 for Cleveland Film Society / Cleveland Filmmakers members or $70
for non-members
For one evening only: $20 for Cleveland Film Society / Cleveland Filmmakers
members or $25 for non-members
All classes and workshops will be held in the Cleveland Film Societys
office space at 2510 Market Avenue in Ohio City. Class sizes are limited

The Cleveland Film Society is a not-for-profit arts and educational
organization that works to expand the publics appreciation for the art of
film. Cleveland Filmmakers, which is a program of the Cleveland Film
Society, is an artists service organization that provides advocacy and
artistic, professional, and educational support to filmmakers in Northeast
Ohio. The flagship event of the Cleveland Film Society is the Cleveland
International Film Festival. The 26th Cleveland International Film Festival
will be held March 14-24, 2002 at Tower City Cinemas on The Avenue at Tower
City Center in downtown Cleveland, Ohio.
Major government support for the Cleveland Film Society comes from the Ohio
Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. The Cleveland Film
Societys Fall 2001 Film Appreciation Classes and Filmmaking Workshops are
