Ballet Jeunesse of the Ballet Academy
19th Annual Spring Concert
Friday, March 15, 2002, and Saturday, March 16, 2002
7:30 PM at Hawken Upper School Auditorium 

Tickets ($5) are available by calling the Ballet Academy (216) 464-6681 
(located in Commerce Park, Beachwood) or at the Hawken Auditorium box office 
(only on performance nights).

The Ballet Jeunesse of the Ballet Academy is a local troupe of 28 high school 
and middle school girls. The director of Ballet Jeunesse is Elissa Columbi 
Okin, previously with the Fort Worth Ballet and Fairmount Dancers.

This year's show features originally choreographed ballets done to the music 
of Copeland, Minkus, Joel, and others.  The performance will include a 
special appearance by Artour Bajanov.  Guest choreographer Margaret Faust, 
artistic director of the Rockford Ballet, has created a murder-mystery dance 
number to the music of Gershwin.  Rounding out the program is an original 
piece by Shannon Fischer Titas, resident modern dance teacher at the Ballet 
Academy.

Hawken Upper School Auditorium is located on County Line Road, just north of 
Mayfield Road in Gates Mills, Ohio.
