    A COLLECTION OF ONE ACTS & SPOKEN WORD  
 produced and directed by Jimmie D. Woody
Written by Keith Josef Adkins, Mariama Whyte, Langston Hughes and John 
Coltrane

Using the traditions of West African storytelling, combined with African 
American music, Underground Griots uses a multi-cultural cast to celebrate 
the human experience through language, music, song, dance and poetry.  

Featuring:    Norman Berry - Twyonia Cooper- Jazmin Corona - 
                        Kat McIntosh - Joyce Meadows - Kevin L. Moore - 
                       Joseph Primes -  Jimmy Walker, Jr. - Shawn Walz -   
                       Gerri Harris - Manatho Masini - Asherith Even

Performed on Cleveland Public Theatre's Mainstage Theatre, Underground Griots 
opens Friday, May 17 at 8:00 p.m. and runs through Sunday, June 2, 2002 with 
a special preview performances on Thursday, May 16, 2002 at 8:00 p.m.
