The North Canton Playhouse will present a nostalgic 40's musical revue
and memorial, Our Sentimental Journey, Thursdays through Saturdays, July
11 - 27 at 8:00 PM, with Sunday matinees July 14 and 21 at 2:30 PM, in
the intimate 40- seat McManaway Studio. The slate includes jazz, swing,
blues, torch, show, war, and patriotic music from that Era in song and
dance form. It was designed to thank and pay tribute to our veterans and
a generation who fought for the freedoms we hope to continue to enjoy.
Director / Co Musical Director, Cheryl M Petrovic, conceived & submitted
the work to NCP a year before the 9-1-1 tragedy. This is an inter
generational event, as our production cast & team ranges in age from 18 -
77.

One number, "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square," is also a special
dedication to the memory of our beloved Patrick W Ickes, an extraordinary
musician & educator who passed away last November. Six of the twelve
people involved with the show worked with Patrick in some musical milieu.
Lisa M Belopotosky, who started voice with him as a 13 yr old, is now a
20 yr old young lady who will perform the honors. Other members of the
cast include Lindsay Blair from Medina; Marcella Dulac, Charles
Gregorcic, Adam C Kern, Art Lavigne & Joseph Petrovic, all of North
Canton; John M Moauro & Dawn L Myers of Canton, and Chanda K Porter of
Cuyahoga Falls. Jerry L Hastings is Co Musical Director, and Harrison
Bishop Fay will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

General Admission is $10 and $8 for Seniors and Students. Tickets may be
ordered and purchased through the box office, open Monday through Friday
from 9 AM - 2 PM. The number is 330-494-1613 or 330-494-1693. Only 400
tickets available for this limited engagement...hope to see & meet you
there !

PS: On Wed, June 19 @ 8:45 AM, cast member Lindsay Blair & I will be live
on the Mark Harris / Kyle Schwarz morning drive, AM 1310 Radio WDPN in
Alliance to plug the show. Lindsay is our youngest cast member & will be
matriculating @ Mount Union College this fall on a $16,000 Vocal
Performance Scholarship, as well as Communications.

Tuesday, June 18: Co MD Jerry Hastings & I will pre record a "Community
Spotlight" interview w/ radio host & personality, Fred Chenevey of AM
1480 WHBC in Canton & the greater Stark County area, to again plug the
show. It will air 4x/day about 2 wks before & into the show run.

Thanks, everyone for the support shown so far.
