THE CLEVELAND SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL=B9S
FIFTH SEASON OPENS THIS FRIDAY, JULY 5TH

The Cleveland Shakespeare Festival=B9s fifth season of free, outdoor
Shakespeare opens this Friday, July 5th.

HENRY IV, directed by Lawrence Nerhing and presented in a special adaptatio=
n
that will feature both parts in a single evening, opens this Friday at 7 PM
at the Shaker Heights Colonnade, on the corner of Lee and Van Aken in Shake=
r
Heights, and continues on Saturday, July 6 and Sunday, July 7 at 7 PM.

HENRY IV is the compelling story of a king who kills for his crown, only to
see his political allies turn against him in his moment of triumph. Prince
Hal is desperate for a father's love, but hangs out drinking all night in
the bar with Falstaff and his gang of thieves. How far will Hal go to win
Henry IV's approval? And who will triumph when the carousing Prince Hal and
the hot-blooded Hotspur meet on the battlefield?

Admission is free and open to the public; there are no tickets for
admission. Seating is on the lawn, patrons are encouraged to bring blankets
or low-backed lawn chairs to the performance.

AS YOU LIKE IT, directed by Jerrold Scott, opens next Friday, July 12 at 7
PM at the Shaker Heights Colonnade.

For a complete festival schedule, check the CSF website at
http://www.cleveshakes.org or call (216) 732-3311.
