Footloose Opens at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre

Chagrin Falls --- Footloose, by Dean Pritchard and Walter Bobbie, opens
July 12 at Chagrin Valley Little Theatre, 40 River Street, Chagrin Falls.
Directed by Michael Flohr with choreography by Lisa-Marie French, the
production runs through August 17.
Based on the 1984 movie of the same name, Footloose tells the story of how
a group of teens brings dancing to a small, Texas town for the first time
in more than 120 years. The production includes more than 20 musical
numbers in two acts, with music by Tom Snow, Kenny Loggins and Eric Carmen.
The CVLT production stars Mitch McCarrell as Ren, Courtney Schloss as Ariel
and a multi-talented cast of more than 20 performers, ranging in age from
high school to retirees.
Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m., with 2 p.m. matinees on
Sunday, July 28 and Sunday, August 4. Tickets are $16, $10 for seniors, $7
for students and may be purchased by calling  440-247-8955 or at the
theater Box Office, Monday through Saturday, 1 to 6 p.m. Advance ticket
sales have been strong; good seats are still available, but  reservations
are recommended.
