OHIO INDEPENDENT FILM FESTIVAL'S NINTH YEAR: Save the Date

CLEVELAND, OHIO-For the past nine years, the Independent
Pictures' sponsored Ohio Independent Film Festival has provided a=20
much needed venue for regional, national, and international film and=20
videomakers to showcase their craft.

This year, the festival runs from Saturday, November 2nd through=20
Sunday, November 10th. The event will include the festival's
usual mix of enlightening, engaging, and fascinating shorts programs=20
and features, as well as Script Mill, an unstaged reading of an award-
winning screenplay from the Ohio Independent Screenplay Awards.=20

The Ohio Independent Film Festival will open with workshops including=20
the annual Director of Photography workshop headlined by local=20
filmmaker, Robert Banks.  The DP workshop provides hands-on=20
instruction and demonstration on lighting and filming a scene.

An added bonus to those submitting work to this year's festival
is a concurrent online festival, giving filmmakers the chance to show=20
their work to a potential audience of millions.

Please support the work of independent filmmakers by attending the=20
festival, November 2 =96 10, and get a chance to see films of a
wide array of topics, viewpoints, and artistic visions not readily=20
available through Hollywood releases.

Independent Pictures supports emerging media artists and the=20
exhibition of their films and video projects to a wider audience=20
through the Ohio Independent Film Festival and other programs such as=20
the Ohio Independent Screenplay Awards, Script Mill, film training=20
programs, and workshops.
