If you are still interested in auditioning for Lord of the Flies, please
join us during the callback auditions on Tuesday, August 20 @ 7pm at the
Beck Center.  We will be reading selections from the script along with
some improvisational scene work.=20

Based upon William Golding's classic novel, Lord of the Flies begins as
a simple story about a group of English schoolboys marooned on a
tropical island when the plane evacuating them from England crashes. As
their make-shift civilization begins to crumble, the audience is carried
to a devastating and bloody climax.

Cast:
=20
12 boys ( all ages)** and 2 men, mid 20's - mid 30's.
=20
Auditions will consist of readings from the play.  (Scripts available at
the auditions only).

** Looking for young actors of all ages.  The age range of the
schoolboys can start at 8 and can go as high as 18.
   Also seeking actors who are older but can play "young".

Lord of the Flies will be produced October 25th through November 17th
and will be directed by Brian Zoldessy.

(Brian Zoldessy is Asst. Professor and Director of the Theatre Arts
Department at Cuyahoga Community College.  Brian acted in New York, L.A.
and Chicago, appearing on Broadway, Off-Broadway, in Television and
films, working with Eli Wallach, Jack Gilford, Kevin Bacon, Matthew
Broderick, John Travolta and Woody Allen.  A winner of the Kennedy
Center's Irene Ryan Acting and Directing Award, his directing credits
include Amadeus, Six Degrees of Separation, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's
Nest, Glengarry Glen Ross, Agnes of God, The Male and Female Odd Couple,
Othello, The Taming of the Shrew, and A Midsummer Night's Dream, The
Comedy of Errors, and Coriolanus, for The Cleveland Shakespeare
Festival. Brian is also a theatre faculty member, Special Studies
Program, at the  Chautauqua Institution). =20
