Taking time out of both of their hectic performing schedules to give back to=

the community in which they reside, CCDT, acontemporary dance company that=20
celebrates promotes and teaches diversity through dance and SAFMOD, a=20
multi-media performance ensemble which creates and performs original works o=

music, dance and visual art will once again joinforces for =E2=80=9CSummer J=

2002,=E2=80=9D an end of the summer dance concert on the front lawn of the a=
rtist=20
live/workspace of the Hodge School where both companies reside. Both=20
companies separately will present an hour length showcase of works from thei=

existing repertoire of contemporary dances.  In addition, TePou Huke and=20
JoAnna Palomio, guest artists from Easter Island in Cleveland on a cultural=20
exchange supported through the Ohio Arts Council will add to the festivities=
=20
by presenting traditional dances from their native culture.=20

This free community event is made possible with thesupport of The Ohio Arts=20
Council, The City of Cleveland, Playhouse Square Foundation and many generou=

individual contributors to CCDT and SAFMOD.
