AUDITIONS
The Chosen
Adapted by Aaron Posner and Chaim Potok, from the novel by Chaim Potok
Directed by Dorothy Silver

	The Eugene S. & Blanche R. Halle Theatre will be holding open
auditions for the production of The Chosen, adapted by Aaron Posner and
Chaim Potok from the novel by Chaim Potok.  This production will be directed
by Dorothy Silver.  Auditions will be held on Tuesday, September 24th from 7
- 10pm.  The auditions will take place at the Jewish Community Center,
located at 3505 Mayfield Road in Cleveland Heights.  Callbacks will be on
Thursday, September 26th from 7 - 10pm.
Auditioners should be prepared to read from the script.  Reading the play in
advance by obtaining a library copy is recommended.  
Available roles are:
Danny: male, mid-teens to early 20s
Young Reuven: male, mid-teens to early 20s
David Malter: male, mid-40s to mid-50s
Older Reuven: male, mid-30s to early 40s

The role of Reb Saunders has been cast; all other roles are available.
Actors may be Equity or non-Equity.  All positions paid.  Rehearsals are
scheduled to begin late January/early February.  Performances will be March
15 - 30, 2003.
No appointment necessary.  Actors should bring a headshot and resume to the
