JCC Youth Theatre Holds Auditions 
For Singin' in the Rain

Playmakers Youth Theatre at the Jewish Community Center will be holding
auditions for its musical production of Singin' in the Rain, based on the
MGM film, screenplay and adaptation by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, songs
by Nacio Herb Brown and Arthur Freed, and directed by Sheri Gross. Audition
date is Wednesday, September 25 from 6:30pm -7:30pm for grades 2-5, and
7:45pm-9:00pm for grades 6-9 at the Mayfield JCC, 3505 Mayfield Rd,
Cleveland Heights. Roles are open for actors in 2nd grade-9th grade.  Be
prepared to sing an uptempo song and a ballad (an accompanist will be
provided), and be prepared to dance and read from the script.  Rehearsals
are Monday -Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.  The show runs
Thursday, December 5 through Sunday, December 15, 2002.  For more
